This guide is about Amitoi Expeditions in Throne & Liberty. It explains what these expeditions are, how to unlock them, how to choose the right Amitoi for each expedition, and what rewards you can get.
In this guide, we will explain what Amitoi Expeditions are, their benefits, and how to initiate one.
What Are Amitoi Expeditions?
Amitoi Expeditions enable you to send one or more of your Amitoi on a journey to a location on the world map.
While an Amitoi is on an expedition, it cannot be summoned. Once the expedition is complete, your Amitoi will return with items, such as crafting materials, which vary based on the location.
You can also select the duration of the expedition, which influences the quantity of items you receive.
Amitoi Expeditions provide an additional means of acquiring resources. Although this feature isn’t a game changer, it is beneficial and adds extra utility to your Amitoi.
How to Unlock Amitoi Expeditions
Locate the Amitoi known as Adventurer Pro Percy, who is situated next to the statue in the center of Kastleton.
Talk to him, and he will inform you about Amitoi Expeditions. After this brief conversation, click your Amitoi's icon on your hotbar to access the Amitoi House. Completing this step will unlock the Vagabond Percy Amitoi.
Once inside the Amitoi House, interact with the map on the table to begin planning your first expedition. Like many systems in Throne & Liberty, this feature requires gradual leveling. Initially, you will only have access to a basic expedition to the Golden Rye Pastures, but as you level up your Amitoi Expeditions, additional options will become available.
How to Start an Amitoi Expedition
In the Amitoi House, interact with the map and select the location where you wish to send your Amitoi(s). If this is your first attempt, the only available option will be to send one Amitoi to the Golden Rye Pastures.
If you have an Amitoi that fits well with the terrain at the expedition site, its icon will display an upward green arrow. Selecting a well-suited Amitoi will result in slightly better rewards, but don’t worry if you don’t have one.
Choose the Amitoi you want to send, then determine the duration of the expedition. Opting for a longer duration means the Amitoi will be away for more time, but you’ll receive greater rewards upon their return.
Once you’ve finalized these details, click "Begin Expedition." A timer will start, and when it runs out, your Amitoi will return with rewards. You can end the expedition early, but doing so will forfeit any rewards and progress you would have made towards leveling up your Amitoi Expeditions.
While your Amitoi Expedition is ongoing, you are free to pursue other activities or log out of the game entirely.
Location of Amitoi House
When you teleport to the Amitoi House, you’ll find yourself beside a semi-circular table featuring the Amitoi Expedition Map. Interact with this map to access the Expedition menu.
Select an Expedition Destination

You’re now set to plan your Expedition! Pick a region from one of the three Domains and review the Expected Rewards. If the potential materials meet your needs, assemble an Expedition Team from your available Amitoi and determine the duration of the Expedition using the Expedition Time setting. Longer Expeditions typically yield more materials and experience.
Once you've finalized all the Expedition details, click on Begin Expedition to dispatch your Amitoi. Keep in mind that Amitoi on an Expedition cannot assist you during your explorations in the open world, so make your selections carefully!
Dispatch Amitoi with Suitable Attributes
Your Amitoi and the various regions feature one of five attributes: Plain, Shore, Forest, Desert, or Ruins. To increase the chances of obtaining special rewards, try to send out Amitoi that share the same attribute as the target region.
Be aware that different Expeditions have varying maximum Team sizes, with a cap of five Amitoi, so choose wisely. Additionally, ensure that you unsummon any Amitoi you wish to send, as summoned Amitoi will not be selectable in the Expedition Menu.
Wait for the Expedition to Conclude

After initiating an Amitoi Expedition, all that remains is to wait for the set duration. You can tell an Expedition is underway by checking for the running Amitoi icon on the top right of your UI, near the Minimap.
The progress of the Expedition continues in real-time, whether you are actively playing or logged off, allowing you to explore or log out and return later for the rewards.
Return to Amitoi House After Completion
Once your Amitoi complete their Expedition, the running icon will be replaced with a celebratory Amitoi icon, marked by a red diamond. Click on this icon for a quick overview of the Expedition details, then click the blue button to swiftly teleport back to the Amitoi House.
Collect Rewards in the Amitoi Expedition Menu
Back in the Amitoi House, interact with the Amitoi Expedition Map once more. Click Claim Reward to receive your materials, freeing up the Map for another Expedition.
To maximize your rewards over time, consistently claim rewards and dispatch Expeditions immediately afterward, particularly since you can only have one Amitoi Expedition active at a time.
Unlock Additional Expedition Regions by Leveling Up Your Team
In addition to the materials in Expected Rewards, you also earn Expedition Team EXP each time you complete an Expedition successfully. Notifications will appear in the Chat to inform you of your EXP gain, and you can monitor your Expedition Team Level in the upper right corner of the Expedition menu.
Continuously leveling up your Expedition Team by accumulating EXP is essential for unlocking new regions and increasing your potential material rewards, so plan the timing of your Expeditions carefully.
